All loose, cracking and peeling paint is sanded smooth to the bare wood. Holes and gaps around the trim and windows are filled. Window glazing is repaired. All exposed wood is primed to seal the wood and give proper adhesion for the top coat of paint, stain, or other material.

Using power sanding equipment to strip or feather-in peeling areas as needed requires skill and an understanding of different surfaces. Scraping is also used in tough to reach areas. Our painters are highly experienced with all phases of preparation.

Caulking is essential in sealing moisture out and adds an element of weather stripping. Carpenter bees and woodpeckers can leave rather large holes in the wood and sometimes it is necessary to replace the wood, we will provide a highly qualified carpenter to take care of these problems.
